Commencing my career in various positions within Woolworths Ltd I was able to attain the positions of Store Manager – Supermarkets. I was responsible for all managerial aspects the position entails. I as appointed Store Manager and successfully made all the stores I was assigned to more profitable (controlling wages and increasing sales). I was them given responsibility for larger $50 Million + turnover stores with 150 + employees.. I held other positions as a Relief Area Manager (rotational over a period of years) and HR Manager – Relief.After this I used my managerial skills to run several local, state and federal elections as a returning officer’s ensuring processes and procedures were adhered to in accordance with legislation and guidelines. My managerial skills have proven to be transportable to other industries.I returned to retail as an IGA Store Manager and then Curtain Wonderland. I then transitioned into the Non Profit sector, successfully turning around store performance in various organisations. I am seeking a more challenging role to further utilise my experience at managing multiple sites and improving profitability. I am a specialist in customer service and dealing with both difficult operational and employment issues.
