In a reference lab setting, I worked to match organ and bone marrow recipients with potential donors. Work history includes lymphocyte flow cytometry crossmatch, genetic analysis of STRs for engraftment analysis, molecular methods of genetic HLA typing and HLA antibody identification and quantification. I served as Point of Care Coordinator for four years. In that role, I managed education, training, and competency assessment for a team of 25 nurses, respiratory therapists, and EMTs with respect to point of care lab testing.
