• Manage the bookkeeping in QuickBooks on a variety of accounts• Assist with invoicing clients, tracking and billing expenses, and following up on outstanding payments• Organizing company files, both paper and electronic• Supervise the budgeting and projections for a number of small businesses• Direct the compliance efforts for small businesses in a variety of state and local jurisdictions, including filing annual reports, establishing and maintaining business licenses, and keeping filings up-to-date• Provide monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports to CFO for small businesses• Provide year-end tax support for small businesses to CFO and HR Director• Serve as the main point-of-contact at our headquarters for a handful of our ventures, reporting back to the CFO and President about their financial progress• Identify and take ownership of areas to improve the operations of our company

• Process bi-weekly payroll • Manage, track and update employees 401k accounts • Assist with the day-to-day efficient operations of the finance department • Build strong personal relationships with employees and customers • Assist in invoicing all customers and assist in the payment posting and application• Assist in the collections for all receivables and posting cash receipts to the accounting system• Work with customer to ensure timely payment of outstanding receivables • Prepare special request information as needed; banking info, W-9 and wires etc.
