• Spearheaded an Advanced Treatment Center for Liver Malignancies, which increased utilization of Y90 treatment for patients with unresectable liver tumors.
• Established a complex GI Oncology Program; grew volume across multiple departments, stopped outmigration and leakage, and streamlined multi-disciplinary decision making.
• Created nurse navigation program as central point of contact for patients / providers.
• Contributed to the design of a robust multi-disciplinary Head and Neck oncology program.
• Envisioned, developed, and implemented several patient, nurse and physician studies to better understand and address the impact of stress on clinical judgment and shared decision making.

• COMPANY: HCA TriStar Division – Sarah Cannon Cancer Center: Providing state-of-the-art cancer care for hundreds of thousands of patients, more than any single cancer center.
• OVERVIEW: Functioned as a member of the multidisciplinary team and served as an advocate and educator for cancer patients, from diagnosis through end of active treatment.
• Ensured patient compliance to treatment through care coordination and relationship building.
• Served as liaison between patient, family, and all physicians throughout the cancer network.
• Collaborated closely with surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and interventional radiologists to augment physician services and assist patients in understanding diagnosis and treatment.
• Launched center’s 1st Complex Gastrointestinal Oncology (CGIO) Navigation program which now serves as the model for navigation program design throughout HCA.
