Following the initial Summer 2021 internship, internal customers requested I continue my work supporting their team from August 2021 - May 2022. I returned for Summer 2022 from May 2022 - August 2022.- Wrote custom Python library incorporating Matplotlib to ingest orbital collision data and output desired data visualizations of the resulting orbital environment and debris, reducing time needed for Astrodynamics team to prepare to present at conferences or brief media.- Initiated development of a storage & security architecture proposal for deploying classified data on Aerospace’s in house multi-cloud, multi-tenant platform, demonstrating potential viability of StorageGRID as a solution. Built system prototypes using StorageGRID, Amazon S3 & CLI, and Kong API gateway. - Contributed to a forthcoming white paper on single and multi-cloud architectures. Prototyped potential architectures using minikube, Kubernetes, Docker, Kong, and the Istio service mesh.- Created a proof of concept document for a mathematical curve smoothing approach to refining simulated object routes. The implementation of this method will increase the accuracy of a communication architecture assessment tool used by classified National Security Space customers.

Timespan is cumulative of 1 year, 7 months over three internship periods.Supported Mars 2020 as part of 4 person testing team for a suite of software tools for Perseverance rover that provided capabilities such as command validation and translation, and web-based collaborative activity planning for science and engineering users. Work focused on developing automated tests and testing plans. I was asked to continue supporting my team following my Summer 2019 internship and returned for two additional internship periods: Sept 2019 - Jan 2020 and June 2020 - Dec 2020.- Named QA Cognizant Engineer for a tool in the suite providing a rover activity authoring UI. Responsible for reporting bugs, maintaining test suite, and reporting on testing status in weekly tag ups. - Increased automated test coverage for this tool by 200%, and across all tools delivered by development team by 40%, drastically reducing testing time at a critical point in the mission as it approached launch. Tools used for testing included Robot Framework, JavaScript, Regex, Python, ChromeDriver, and HTTP requests.
