Conducted original field research on anthropogenic and vegetative factors affecting avian biodiversity in Tampa, Florida at two green, urban-enclosed properties; the USF Forest Preserve and the USF Claw Golf Course. Results include avian census counts, vegetative composition analyses and conjunctive statistics on their interconnections. I will utilize my findings to promote sustainable urbanization practices and educate the public of the importance of local and global conservation efforts.

I have been practicing Mixed Martial Arts since 2009 at Heimberger's Martial Arts in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Since achieving my Black Belt in Mixed Martial Arts in 2016, I teach students to foster core values such as discipline, perseverance and selflessness. I use my experience to train students in various martial arts including Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo, American Boxing, Muay Thai, Karate and Kata. Through dedicated practice and routine, I ensure each of my pupils succeeds within their own definitions of self-growth and physical aptitude.

As a Morsani assistant researcher with Dr. Ji Li and Lab, I conducted various scientific lab procedures in a multi-faceted, high-impact cardiovascular research facility. Laboratory objectives focused on enzymatic therapies for myocardial ischemia, hypertension, cardiac hypertrophy and diabetes. My experience with the Dr. Ji Li lab has provided me with high-impact laboratory skills correlated to my major and career opportunities.

I worked at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay to contribute to the outstanding image of this establishment, improve upon my own functional skills, and make a positive difference in the lives of others in every action I took. I made meaningful, long-lasting connections and learned how to work with others in a fast-paced, culinary environment. This work experience has enabled me to operate with others from a variety of backgrounds and utilize diversity to form a high-functioning, collaborative community. My time at Busch Gardens has allowed me to make a positive impact on guest experiences and represent this establishment in a bold, charismatic image.I performed various informative tasks during my work experience, such as:- Serving food from various cuisines in an efficient and professional line fashion.- Assisting guest services to resolve customer troubleshooting in a compassionate manner.- Operate cash registers and familiarize myself with monetary transactions and integrity.- Manage an open-liquor bar and build upon restocking calculations and measurements.- Sanitize dishes and utensils and improve upon valuable household skills in an industrial setting.- Operate various styles of grills, woks and fryers and learn diverse methods of food preparation.- Restock incoming supplies manually and reaffirm physical fitness, functionality and safety.- Disinfect my work area by mopping and removing waste to improve workplace hygiene.- Prepare raw foods and gain valuable insight regarding culinary hazards and accident prevention.These tasks have reinforced the importance of hands-on skills in my daily life. Busch Gardens has provided me with the opportunity to train household and industrial techniques in a constructive team manner. I continue to utilize my comprehensive skills in all aspects of my life and share my expertise with others. Overall, working with Busch Gardens has given me tools to improve the quality of my own life and of those around me.
