I am a computational protein modeler and modeling team leader with more than 15 years of experience in molecular design in the biotech industry and academia.I partner with teams in antibody discovery, protein biochemistry, molecular biology and cell engineering, computational biology, external innovation, biology research, and with both commercial and academic collaborators to design individual antibodies, antibody libraries, other therapeutic proteins and biomolecules that help answer research questions, and to develop methods to design better molecules. Most recently, I led a team looking at how to connect machine learning in Ab modeling with Ab discovery campaigns.Designing or optimizing these therapeutic antibody candidates, research tool molecules, or modified target molecules, I have success rates of initial or improved variants of 10-20%.
