Current1. Contributed to developing the back-end for Ubuntu Pro. Implemented the functionality of using Pro in internetless environments. This functionality is proposed in the PPA I maintain (https://launchpad.net/~yellow/+archive/ubuntu/ua-airgapped/) and in the form of a Juju machine charm (https://charmhub.io/pro-airgapped-server).2. Assisted the Finance team by automating the revenue recognition process. This drastically reduced manual work for auditing.3. Enabled the opportunity for OEMs (large laptop manufacturers) to resell Ubuntu Pro. I was a lead engineer in this project, connecting the business, finance audit, and sales requirements to the successful completion of the project.4. Taking on mentorship / some project management responsibilities in my work. I conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with junior developers and help them with onboarding. Spec and code reviews are my forte. I assist the Customer Success team with the issues Ubuntu Pro customers face and resolve them on the engineering side.5. Close work on the infrastructure of the services the Commercial Systems department works on. I am working with SREs to define the functional requirements for new deployments, which we define via Terraform specs. I work on observability for new projects and having the cross-team reach.6.
