Senior Technical Support Engineer
CurrentProject:Working in a team of 9 engineers providing support for a global lending application in a multicultural environment.Responsibilities:Technical Support activity:- Providing support for technical infrastructure components such as databases, Linux servers, middleware, UI;- Handling production incidents and problem management activities;- Remediate outages on production;- Troubleshooting application issues in close collaboration with business users and QA engineers, part of our team;- Doing thorough code analysis of the application, root cause investigation to remediate issues discovered in production and deliver the necessary fix;- Reproducing the bugs on testing environments in order to be investigated by development team;- Monitor and debugging backend feeds and jobs (Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters) and take the proper action;- Writing and maintaining up to date technical documentation for future KT sessions;- Active participation in DR exercises;- Having regular meetings (Agile environment) with stakeholders to track progress and highlight issues in order to have a clear understanding of tasks and future approachesRelease Management activity:- Creating Changes tickets for releases and deploy them on Production;- Creating Liquibase in order to be deployed on non-production and production database environments;- Collaborating with the Development team to ensure deployments meet the agreed standard.Offering support and technical training for my new colleagues and helping them to gain knowledge for a better understanding of the product;Technologies used:Knowledge in Oracle DB, MS SQL Server, Unix, Shell scripting, Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Fabric, GCP;Work with Jira, Jama, Confluence, Git, GitHub, BitBucket, SVN, Artifactory;Monitoring: Control-M.
