- Responsible for driving innovation for Wickes Digital Stores- Founded the Wickes Engineering Community, driving collaboration between all teams within Wickes. This included permanent, contractors and third party consultancies to share knowledge and ideas.- Established AQA practice and lead the transformation across Digital and Enterprise.- Lead on vendor engagement for selection of hardware and software. I was a primary contact for RFI, RFP and PoC stages for selecting hardware and software for the Unfied Commerce Platform for in-store ePOS.

September 2015 - September 2016I was the lead developer on the DSB (Digital Store Browser), which was a in-store, locked down Android device which used the suite of API's to allow customers to browse, read reviews and purchase the range of items within Argos.I worked closely with the customers, whether it was in-store asking questions or setting up user demos, to ensure that each iteration was providing value to both the business and the customer.September 2016 to presentPart of a small team to build from scratch a new in-store kiosk which allows users to pay for their reservations. This was a fantastic project as it gave me great exposure to the lower level, legacy systems, but exposing these in a way which can be re-used across the business.I also had the opportunity to integrate with PED's (Pin Entry Device) for taking payment, payment providers, contactless payment including Apple and Android pay, and receipt printing.

Worked with one of Britain's largest online and high street retailers and I am lead for 3 teams, which are:Lead Android Developer - As the lead Android developer, I work closely with the team and the client to manage expectations and produce a native Android app which is finished and tested to a high quality. I also work with the client to add new functionality and give estimations on how long each piece of work will take.Continuous Integration Team Lead - As the continuous integration lead, I am responsible for maintaining and create new repositories within git. I am also in charge or creating and maintaining all of the automated solutions which run daily to produce, upload and send the native Android and iOS apps the the testing suite as well as send out the release notes for each build.Build Team Lead - As my role as build team lead, it is my responsibility to create and distribute any development builds which teams require. I am also responsible for creating the final builds and submitting them to the store for review and go on to release them to the wider public.
