As a Staff Assistant/Office Manager I am responsible for a variety of tasks including: recruiting and supervising our office interns, greeting visitors, answering the telephone and answering constituent requests for general information, tours, and other inquiries. I also monitor delivery and pickup of materials, office supplies, maintain the front office, and assist with various administrative and legislative duties.

While I was an office assistant I participated in a variety of office and customer service tasks such as answering the phone, greeting and assisting students, making copies, filing, data entry, distributing supplies, leading tours of the Nursing school, and other duties as needed.

During my internship I assisted with a wide variety of administrative tasks such as: writing constituent correspondence, handling mail, managing phone calls, and personally guiding constituents/visitors on U.S. Capitol tours. I also worked on special projects and assisted in planning events. While interning , I attended meetings, hearings and briefings to remain informed about current legislative issues.

Enhanced operational efficiency by using slow periods to restock employee and customer supplies, including ice, condiments, utensils, napkins, trays and delivery bags. Collected credit card, cash and gift certificate payments and dispensed change for cash transactions. Kept updated knowledge of menu and promotions, recommending specific items according to preferences and food allergies. Collaborated with kitchen team to support order preparation, manage efficient deliveries and minimize customer service issues by verifying meals.

Personally, canvassed over 500 houses door-to-door in Florida's 6th Congressional District. Was responsible for the distribution and placement of campaign literature and yard signs.Collaborated with a team of canvassers to plan the most efficient routes and schedules. Spoke one on one with constituents about the candidate's beliefs and stances

Maintained a professional appearance in order to present the country club in appropriate manner all while working hard to make sure each cart was maintained at it's peak performance.
