I was in charge of all aspects of the service department and engineering for the business. As this is a small business I provided a wide range of engineering duties ranging from servicing, fault calls and installs. Promotion and sale of warranty contracts and ink also allowed me to maintain my sales skills with site visits to prospecting customers and working with suppliers to help promote new products and services.

South West

Field service engineer covering the entire range of Mimaki products. This included Signs and graphics equipment, Industrial products and Textile. Workload ranged from yearly servicing to five day installs and training of large flatbed UV products all over the country. Dealer support was also a key factor in this role as I was a key contact for support and escalated calls.

At Visitech I was part of a team that controlled the day to day running of the business and ensuring we are consistently moving forward. Site visits and engineering call outs also feature highly in my role to ensure high standards of repairs are met.

Poole

Created business partnerships that increased the sales portfolio of VTS while still maintaining the service levels of the warranty scheme in place via engineering visits. Promotion of new products introduced and organising a stand for the Sign UK show.

Clevedon

As service manager I had full responsibility for all after sales activities including P&L Control, staff motivation and training, Stock management and ensuring all field service calls in the UK and Ireland were completed in line with SLAs. With focus on customer service this role also involved customer site visits to resolve escalated calls where necessary. Service meetings and engineer training was a big focus to help support the continued growth of the product range and changing customer base.

Repair and service of all Spandex products ranging from Small desktop thermal transfer printers to wide format inkjet systems. The work ranged from detailed board repair to board swap on site. In this role I was covering the UK
