Interactive Resources is a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm founded in 1973 and located in Point Richmond, California. Recently, the firm opened a satellite office in the Central Valley to better meet the needs of our growing clienteleThe name "Interactive Resources" was originally conceived to describe our goal of bringing together several design disciplines to better integrate the architecture and engineering professions. Interactive Resources has achieved this objective with an in-house staff of architects, planners, structural and civil engineers, designers and technical specialists. This combination of resources has given the firm a reputation for versatility and efficiency.

The planning commission plays a central role in the City's planning process in three important ways. First, it acts as an advisory board to the main governing body on all planning and development issues. Second, the commission assures that the general plan is implemented by reviewing development applications on a case-by-case basis. Third, the commission functions as the decision-making body for many proposals.

Point Richmond Music is a non-profit (501c-3) offering free events featuring music, art, and local food and craft-beer to the greater Richmond and East Bay. PRM concerts offer a gathering place for people of all ages, ethnicities, and walks of life, who come together to enjoy musical talent of many genres from Richmond, the Bay Area and beyond. In addition to producing its free summer concert series, the group is proud to help support year-round music in Point Richmond through its sponsorship of the Point Richmond Acoustic series and the Point Richmond Jazz series, which run October through May at the First United Methodist Church, and to foster the development of the next generation of musicians through contributions to Washington Elementary School’s music program. Sixteen years of this collaborative effort have been made possible through donations of time and money from local businesses.
