Primary Mechanical Drafter and modeler for the New Product Development Department. Assisted in the development, construction and testing of multiple new product lines. Responsible for updating and streamlining the flow of prototypes from design through construction. Created a process of tracking and recording material and labor cost for prototypes and produced monthly and yearly reports. Performed additional duties as liaison between manufacturing and New Product Development, as well as creating and maintain a working shop for the department to produce prototypes and mockups. Set up, maintained and modified the department’s 3D printer and used it to created and finished prototype models, jigs and fixtures and marketing models.

Provided drafting and design services to engineers in the development of aircraft interior upgrades and new construction. Assisted as a member of a Drafting/Design Standards manual review board. Support Lead Engineers with Noncompliance reports, Drawing Change Notice and Advanced drawing Change Notice.

Primary drafter / designer for new modular design of multiple styles of bakery ovens. Instituted programs to increase proficiency in the use of SolidWorks by all engineers and drafters. Developed drafting and modeling standards for use by the engineering and new product development departments.

Assisted engineers in the design, drafting and construction of the Hawk 4 Gyroplane. Primary designer, drafter and construction for the wings of the Hawk 4 using SolidWorks. Assisted engineers with weight reduction and redesign of the Hawk 4.
