By the age of 10 or so, I was the resident computer expert in my household. My parents would put me on the phone with tech support whenever we'd switch dial-up providers so that I could set up the new connection. By 13, I was trusted with the responsibility of selecting my family's next desktop computer. In high school I was given the opportunity to complete a two year program at Summit Technology Academy in Lee's Summit, Missouri where I earned two academic letters, student of the year, and three IT Certifications. In the last eight years, I've worked my way up from Intern to Senior Systems Engineer. I've worked on many different projects and acquired many different skills, but what has always driven me toward a career in IT is that there will always be something new to learn.
