After 23+ years as an independent contractor working for clients in the greater LA area, I accepted a position on staff with the Huntington. Years of work designing and creating environments and objects to go with them prepared me to enter this new phase of effort - mainly taking care of beautiful, interesting and historical things that humans have created relative to gardens. I have the privilege of working with a fascinating array of gardeners, artists, patrons, scholars, scientists, masters and impresarios - to name a few. Working with others in cooperative, synergistic efforts have produced, by far, the greatest achievements in my life.
