Managing a Business Unit within Saab Australia. Responsibilities included management of the P&L, forecasting, resourcing, R&D, and opportunity management. Key activities included delivery of JP2060 Deployable Health Capability program, regional management of the Tactical Communication business, local and international responsibility for Saab's health business and management of GBAD support program including the RBS70 guided missile system and the Carl Gustaf system.

Andrew joined L-3 Australia in 2004 as a Business Development Manager and was promoted to Managing Director in 2016. Responsible for managing the L3 Australia business including both the operations and delivery functions, financial management of overheads, setting annual budgets, achievement of profit targets, remunerations reviews and business forecasting. Transitioned L3 Australia from a sales only capability for US equipment to a local Australian on going business with Project, Engineering and support capability. Reformed the business processes to reflect the maturing of the division, improving finance compliance, ethics program, quality system, and HR processes.Leading the L3 Australia business Andrew successfully:Secured an in car video system program with the Victorian Police.Worked with L3’s UK division to successfully secure Land 154 Counter Improvised Explosive Device CapabilitySuccessfully led a two-year campaign working with multiple international shipbuilders and suppliers in Asia, Europe, and the US, securing the subcontract for the Royal Australian Navy’s Offshore Patrol Vessel electronic systems program.Led the Collins Class Communication System upgrade capture. Led the Royal New Zealand Navy C4I system capture.Position to bid the electronic suit for SEA 1000 Attack Class Submarine program.
