I am a Patent Agent with over 20 years of intellectual property experience, including as a former Primary Patent Examiner at the USPTO. At the USPTO, I examined optical and semiconductor devices. Since leaving the USPTO, I have worked as a professional searcher and, more recently, prepared and prosecuted US patent applications and coordinated with foreign associates to prepare and prosecute non-US patent applications. I have worked with various technologies over my 20-plus years of intellectual property experience. I have extensive experience preparing and prosecuting applications related to AI, data centers, cloud computing, and the software/applications hosted by those data centers, including blockchain. I also have experience prosecuting applications related to communication technologies, optics, and mechanical devices, including heating and cooling technologies.Currently, I focus on both high-tech patent prosecution and mechanical technologies. I prepare and prosecute US applications in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence AI, cloud computing, optical networking, and cyber security. I also work on mechanical devices such as refrigeration, heating, and cooling systems.
