Advanced Practitioner Partnerships And Information Development
Lead local authority officer for the provision of all learning data requirements for the authority and its partners. As part of this role I worked with all stakeholders of learning information to identify the requirements and scope of required work, and matrix manage the team in the delivery of this work as well as being the point of contact regarding education data issues for the Department of Education and schools within the authority.I also worked closely with SERCO who are the school improvement partner within NELC, responsible for the delivery of school improvement services. I work closely in the identification and collection of information and intelligence to help support the contractual obligations of the partner, as well as making sure that the services delivered meet the requirements of the LA. I am the lead officer responsible for the submission of all learning statutory returns for the local authority, in my role I either undertake the collection, validation and submission of the returns myself, or provide support and guidance for team member in the completion of the work. As part of my role I also provide analysis for senior managers to be used in key decision making processes, my work on the pupil number forecasts, is used to support the decision to build new schools, expand existing schools and bid for grants from central government. As the lead education data officer I have worked on several large scale projects to review and update reporting and analysis solutions within the authority, in 2013/14 I have lead on the redevelopment of the school results data packs. During this process I managed team of individuals who consulted which schools to identify their requirements, develop a new reporting scheme and deliver the final reports before the end of term. This project has allowed a significant reduction in resources required for the development of the results pack, from 2-3 months of 3 staff members time to 15 working days of one member of staff.
