I like to dive deep into customer problems and solve those problems with technology. Programming and designing systems that help the agriculture industry is what I do best. I have worked in the industrial and ag industries for many years, as a store manager, salesman, and now as a programmer and system designer.While I've been in school studying Electrical Engineering, I have had the opportunity to design and program a few projects for the company I currently work for. For my internship, I was placed in charge of creating a Calf Slide. I designed the control system for this machine that aided in the offloading of calves from a stock trailer to pens, reducing the risk of injury to the calves and operators. Another project that I was able to work on was a Solids Separator Screen Washer. I designed and programmed an automated washer to clean solids off a separator screen. This removed the necessity for employees interacting with dangerous chemicals and cut cleaning time per screen from 120 minutes to 15 minutes.I enjoy coming up with solutions to problems, and I have big ideas for future projects in the industrial and agricultural industries.
