Here Andrew developed his skills to produce sites for several large clients to short timescales, was involved across the full project life cycle, and subsequent enhancements for the clients.• Initially Andrew worked alongside the client team to deliver the Wellcome Trust commercial website, co-ordinating disparate team members to provide a C#.NET CMS solution. He also led the specification and set up of the live stack of Windows IIS servers.• Andrew then worked with Barclays to deliver their Money Skills site, utilising the Sitecore CMS to develop various content templates. This C# work was well received by Barclays and resulted in Reading Room winning additional project work from them.• After the delivery of the main Money Skills site, Andrew expanded the functionality to encompass the Money Skills Weeks project. Andrew developed a system allowing users to register, be approved by an administrator, and then extending the user profile to store additional information based upon their form submissions. Alongside this development Andrew created an administration and export function so that an external partner could manage and organise the service delivery personnel, teachers. This automated the process and so doubled the service capacity without increasing costs.• Andrew is delivered an Umbraco C#.NET MVC solution to streamline queries to the Housing Ombudsman who, due to a recent legislation change, expected queries to increase by around 300% and wishes to utilise web solutions to manage the increase.

Final Year University ProjectMy final year project evaluated the feasibility of producing a numerical weather prediction system for a personal computer by applying methods to statistically adjust predicted values to achieve a more accurate result. This project spanned the full development lifecycle.I analysed and designed the software using OOD techniques, including Requirements Capture, Use Cases, Sequence and Class Diagrams. The project was then implemented in C# .NET 3.5 with a SQL Server 2005 database of over 1 million rows. An ASP.NET user interface was built to allow the user to control and adjust the model. This application was tested fully for browser compatibility, AAA accessibility standards and accuracy of the output. The entire three month development project was comprehensively documented in a 120 page report.

His work included building multi-page forms and templates, including site usage tracking, logging to a database using query strings.• Consequently, Andrew was chosen to be the lead developer maintaining the new website, www.mazda2.com. Here, he fixed all reported bugs for a six month period, and continued to build new sections and forms too, enhancing the site.
