In a very limited time, Andrew was able to gather customer project needs, design, and deploy a tool that integrates multiple physics agnostically with a common user interface, accelerating the reactor design process and allowing engineers and designers to focus on solutions and ideas without the burden of learning or coupling different physics models. I have been impressed by Andrew's ability to identify integrated and modular solutions to create a modern tool that leverages advanced modeling capabilities for reactor design and optimization. Additionally, Andrew is the main developer of the SerpentTools library, which has become a reference for interacting with SERPENT Monte Carlo code outputs. This library is an expression of Andrew's customer-oriented attitude; there was a need in the nuclear community, and Andrew designed and deployed a tool to fulfill that need. Andrew is a brilliant engineer, an extremely versatile professional, and an excellent team player. Not to mention, it is very enjoyable to work with him."
