On a annual basis I provide more than 2,000 Transition Service Members (TSMs) and spouses with a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, to include: job searching, resume writing, job application processes, networking, salary negotiations, interviewing techniques, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and federal hiring. Also, facilitated in-classroom and virtual settings the use of online platforms which include Zoom, Government Zoom, Cisco WebEx and Adobe Connect collaboration tools which resulted in a seamless learning encounter

Led a 4000 acre Navy base located 2/3 in Virginia, 1/3 in North Carolina with 12 tenant commands and 14 storefront operations supporting strategic communications and information technology and anti-terrorism/force protection training. Implemented and operationalized the first approved Navy Encroachment Action Plan in the region through regularly scheduled meetings with local government officials in Chesapeake, Virginia and Currituck and Camden Counties in North Carolina. Profoundly expanded a community relations program that greatly benefitted the Sailors, Coast Guardsmen and Marines on the installation as well as the local communities, and fostered continual dialogue between the Navy and local government officials at all levels. Created an off-duty education program where none existed, partnering with Navy College Office and local colleges and universities. Created a full service off-duty education office staffed by Navy College Office and local school personnel, offering educational opportunities to active duty, civilian personnel and their families. Oversaw the construction of a $67M Joint Regional Correctional Facility project, a $30M SPAWAR Mobile User Objective System, a base-wide Land Mobile Radio System, and my proactive approach made this a seamless evolution.
