Previously: Cayan/TSYSAt Global Payments, I lead the design and user experience for the Genius portfolio. I was responsible for multiple internal and customer-facing applications and websites, creating and implementing the Genius design system, elevating best practices for accessibility within the Global Payments Integrated and mentoring junior designers.I was involved in the entire product design cycle, including stakeholder consultation, user research & solution framing, low-fi/high-fi wireframes, rapid interactive prototyping and usability testing.We adopted a user-centred approach to design, following a lean iteration cycle to ensure that design solutions are tested and verified. This allowed our customers and their users to benefit from a best-in-class experience when using our products.

At Visionworks Interactive, I was responsible for designing and building responsive websites for many clients. I managed a small design team and was responsible for managing all the digital work in the studio. I became a generalist and gained experience in all aspects of design and development, which led me to specialise in user experience design. During this time, I successfully defined and managed the UX product range while consulting and presenting at the board level with some of the largest private and public sector clients in Northern Ireland.

I started freelancing when I graduated from university and continued doing so on and off for ten years. I worked with a wide range of clients, agencies and businesses on various projects in different sectors as a designer and developer.
