CurrentRepresent the interests of the Department of Homeland Security in immigration court. Advise Enforcement and Removal Operations officers and management on enforcement of immigration laws and removal of removable foreign nationals.Strategize with and provide expertise to the U.S. Attorney’s Office and DOJ counterparts regarding various immigration-related federal court matters including habeas lawsuits, class actions, and appeals of Board of Immigration Appeals decisions to federal circuit court as a member of the Federal Litigation team.Serve as human rights law point of contact for Memphis office. Other team memberships: denaturalization team, technology team, intern/extern team, hiring team.
