I worked on a landscaping crew compiled of the owner and 2 employees. I started working with the small company in March when I had free days aside from my classes, normally 2 days per week. Once I graduated, I went full-time working 30-45 hours per week during the summer, after I got off my shift at UPS.

I worked as a package handler loading package cars and responsible for ensuring packages were placed on the assigned sides of the belt. It was a very fast paced work environment that worked us not only physically, but mentally with all the numbers/letters we were working with. We would normally work from 4am-8am M-F. During peak season, which ran from Nov-Jan, we would normally work 2am-9am M-Sat. I worked here while I was a full-time student because of the hours, I could work in the morning and have my day for classes.

I worked as a line cook for a high-end restaurant in my hometown. I was the youngest on the line by about 10 years, proving age is not a barrier with me. I've been given the opportunity to continue working there on breaks and holidays from school, due to the skills I brought and quickly learned from the company.

I worked as a Shipping/Inventory Manager at a small company that shipped mostly books. I used many different systems to ship and do inventory from Amazon Shipping to Indaba Trading. I did not start in this position but soon acquired it shortly after starting with the company.
