IT assets management has the technical solution (ITAM), which contains all information about equipment`s, includes names, serial numbers, placements, dates of warranty and\or post-warranty contracts, etc.- Presence of continuous technical support contracts and warranties for all Data Center`s equipment and software. There was developed and successfully implemented the process of a technical support contracts prolongation. This process foresees participations of specialists from different company’s departments, either technical specialists and the accountants and service managers. By the diversification the process as well as keeping all the participants in a common information, space we were able significantly increase the transparency of a purchasing. Moreover, what is the most important - reduce in a 20% the year operational expenses.
