I have almost two decades' experience practicing in the legal field as an accredited Paralegal, in contracts and compliance management. I have deep experience in transactional law and have managed an in-house contracts practice for over a decade. I was the single-source for all contracts and contract templates, and was involved in negotiations and advising the company on risk. In my new role at InfoTrust, I am leveraging my skills and experience to stand up a brand new contracts practice. InfoTrust is a leading digital consultancy, now pivoting to a privacy-centric model of advisement and services. My role is to shepherd InfoTrust's already-robust and philosophically-informed process and improvement culture into a usable and pain-free contracts practice. The team here is great and I'm excited to have joined my new "work family"! I spent five years initially in a Denver-based law firm specializing in M&A’s, contracts, trademark, and energy law. My first career was as an automotive technician (a mechanic!), from which I still apply my skill of logical construction to my contract practice...as well as the occasional brake change in the driveway. I'm passionate about the importance of the legal agreement as a solid foundation for excellent relationships and responsible business. I'm also committed to a marketplace culture of transparency, compliance, and privacy-by-design in this fast-paced, increasing-regulated digital age. Personally, I try my best to be down-to-earth, and to cherish friends and family. I enjoy studying theology and history, practicing the craft of writing, and teaching subjects I love. My wife and I are passionate contributors to our local church nestled in the hills on the west side of Denver. I love being husband to my wife and dad to my four kids in Arvada, Colorado.
