Lead 34 people on two crews to handle 2500+ tons of paper rolls per day within our warehouse, ship equal or greater amounts, and handle all associated administrative duties associated therein.I have lead several teams on capitol improvement, and safety projects. I am a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

I was responsible for taking block schedules and creatingproduction runs for one of our high speed paper machines. I also scheduled conversion winders at this and two satellite locations. Led several teams on cost saving projects. I was a team lead for the implementation of MICS (a mill information computer system) at all four Sappi North America locations

I was a winder operator and was trained up to the coater operator level. While an hourly operator, I was chosen to adapt the MICS system to North American standards. This included testing modules, creating training documents, and teaching classes for all hourly/salary paper machine personnel, as well as being technical support after implementation.Prior to May 1989, I worked as a Liscensed weight Scaler for Sappi ( June1976 - 1989).Prior to June 1976 I worked for the Scott Paper -now Sappi- in the woodlands division preforming various degree related functions (1974 - 1976)
