Over the past twenty+ years, I've been telling stories in just about every medium there is: TV, film, AAA video games, internet animation, mobile apps (I'm nothing if not committed to a transmedia approach). What I do best, and what I enjoy most, is world-building: nothing gets me as excited as designing a magic system from scratch (which I did for a science-based fantasy set in Atlantis) or creating a cosmology for a storyverse (such as when I interwove science and mysticism to create the mythos for a zombie video game franchise). I have also helped craft outlines and bibles for scores of projects; I'm equally comfortable with adapting existing IP as I am with with constructing and expanding original ideas. And as an added bonus, I have, from time to time, been accused of being clever: I relish infusing stories with witty, memorable dialogue. I also have seven years of extensive game design experience, specifically in the arena of live game experiences: as a Supervising Producer of Survival Challenge, I force our players into complex decisions, and prepare for the endless possible outcomes. Interestingly enough, this has made me a better storyteller, even when working in linear narratives, because I now think in possibilities rather than inevitabilities (although those, too, have their place). So if you have a genre project that would benefit from compelling game design, substantive world-building, and fascinating characters who know their way around a one-liner, I might well be your guy.
