Senior role in our team looking after all aspects of professional qualifications at KPMG in the UK, supporting our people and students, and liaising with the business and our tuition providers, regulators and exam bodies. Also heavily involved in budgeting and finance processes.Our team ensured that qualification progress continued broadly as scheduled for over 3,000 colleagues during the challenges of the pandemic, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alternative solutions were put in place through lockdown and related restrictions.

As a Performance Leader, I gained extensive experience as a people and operational manager from 2014 to 2019, ultimately working with and supporting around 200 colleagues in our London, North, Midlands and South teams within Restructuring. My role covered recruitment, people and performance management, resourcing, strategic assistance and finance support to the leadership teams, as well as overseeing all day-to-day requirements in my teams. I also led on Learning & Development strategy and activities for the Restructuring team nationally, developing and delivering a range of formal training courses and working to further enhance the learning culture across the business. This included delivering training externally, working with clients and contacts.

I worked with a wide spectrum of businesses from small owner managed concerns to listed companies, assisting with challenging situations and working to drive performance improvement. My experience covers distressed mergers and acquisitions, and a wide range of advisory and insolvency work including extensive work managing financials during insolvency - budgeting, cash flow and general crisis management. I achieved ACA qualification in 2006 and JIEB in 2011.
