As the Director of Participant Engagement at SF-Marin Food Bank, I led the teams that engage directly with our clients: outreach, enrollment and customer service, and home-delivery services. With a BA in Economics from The University of Chicago and a JD from UC Hastings, I bring a unique combination of analytical, legal, and managerial skills to the non-profit sector.My mission has been to ensure that everyone who needs food assistance in San Francisco and Marin counties can access it easily and efficiently. I have successfully scaled up our Home-Delivered Groceries program from 13,000 to over 60,000 deliveries per month during the Covid pandemic, thanks to the collaboration with last-mile delivery providers like DoorDash and Amazon, who contributed over $1 million of in-kind donations. I have also created and positioned the Food Bank for an integrated, “no wrong door” enrollment and customer service system that improves the client experience and reduces barriers to access. I am passionate about coaching and mentoring my staff, fostering external stakeholder relationships, and using data to inform decisions and optimize performance.I am passionate about using my life to move the needle on the universal "goodness quotient."
