Kabul, Afghanistan

Provide administrative and HR support for personnel located at TAD, including but not restricted to: Maintain Theatre Nominal Rolls, Personnel Reports and Feeding Strengths in respect of all TAD Personnel. Carry out all Operational Location movements, on JPA, for personnel arriving and departing TAD. Provide Pay and Allowance support to personnel. Carry out Monthly Management Checks, as directed by Theatre J1 Cell. Provide and record all Cashier transactions. Manage all End of Flight submissions and onward MT requirements for personnel departing theatre. Provide initial Joint Casualty & Compassionate procedure guidance iaw JSP 751 as required, as instructed by SO2 J1. Carry out the duties of the Unit Postal Officer for personnel sending and/or receiving mail.

A key client facing position within the CTP business, acting as first point of contact for our many service leavers, supporting their transition from a military career into civilian employment.Supporting clients in their search for vocational training and job opportunities by providing information and advice on research methods using both IT and manually based systems.Assisting clients with accessing online, such as myplan and RightJob, and hard copy material to support job and transition search activities.Providing a high level of customer care to the CTP’s clients and to both internal and external stakeholders.Provide efficient general administrative services within CTP.

Performing pre-employment medical screenings including drug and alcohol testing for all types of occupations.Pre-employment, random, for-cause and employment compliance drug and alcohol testing, following. all chain of custody protocols for all work undertaken.Hair and/or buccal sample collection to detect drug or alcohol misuse or for paternity cases. Obtain relevant samples from donor, screen samples and send samples for laboratory testing where necessary.

Various Locations

Employed in various administrative roles in the UK and abroad which included Personal Assistant, Unit Discipline, HR, welfare and staff assistant. Roles included supporting Senior Officers at places such as MOD Main Building, HQ Air Command and HQ Allied Forces Central Europe as well as more junior personnel and recruits at RAF Halton, RAF Digby and RAF Lyneham. Roles required Developed Vetting and training in Cash Accounting and Military Discipline.
