Serve as the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) C5ISR Center Global Technology Advisor for all of Europe and parts of Africa and as the Technology Advisor to the CCDC - Atlantic International Technology Center United Kingdom (ITC-UK) in London, leading technical business development efforts and technology scouting by interfacing with industry, academia and European militaries regarding potential collaborative technology development efforts.

Actively engaging the Army's communications and electronics community on the insertion of new manufacturing technologies to support product realization and support sustainment of the Army's command, control, communication, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) equipment.

Program Manager for the U.S. Army's Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) Program, a roughly $60M per year Research & Development (R&D) program targeting manufacturing process development and maturation for Army technologies. Frequently coordinated investments, strategies, and technology transition efforts with senior leaders within the Department of Defense’s (DoD) R&D and Acquisition communities and the defense industrial base. Collaborated with senior leaders at Headquarters Department of the Army, the Army Material Command, Navy, Air Force, Missile Defense Agency, Defense Logistics Agency, within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the White House and across the defense manufacturing industry in developing, evaluating, and prioritizing current and future manufacturing technology projects, road maps and strategic plans. Served as the Army principal member to and Chairman of the Joint Defense Manufacturing Technology Panel (JDMTP). Co-founded the Army’s Additive Manufacturing Community of Practice. Led the Army’s participation in the establishment of the Manufacturing USA institutes. Served on the Strategic Advisory Committee for the Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (now MxD). Led efforts to develop and publish the Army Additive Manufacturing Technology Roadmap and the DoD Additive Manufacturing Technology Roadmap.

Served as a senior mechanical engineer, performing all aspects of complex mechanical and interdisciplinary engineering design, analysis and project management to support/execute development projects for customers.Key Activities:- Gathered customer requirements, prepared project proposals, developed scopes-of-work, performed independent Government cost estimates, conducted feasibility studies, performed mechanical design and systems engineering functions, and managed Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) for interdisciplinary rapid development tasks - Utilized SolidWorks, CosmosXpress, Microsoft Office and organizational software tools to create and optimize military hardened Chemical Biological Defense Systems and components for immediate use in the field- Leveraged additive manufacturing and rapid tooling technologies, conventional machining and metal forming as well as plastics technologies to produce conceptual prototype and finalized components for experimental systems- Coordinated with the Developmental Test community minimize impact on project timelines; Worked closely with Technical Data personnel to ensure product data was thoroughly documented- Functioned as lead systems engineer, IPT lead and project manager for several multi-million dollar projects, ensuring cost, schedule and performance were within projected ranges- Empowered IPT members to explore solutions for complex problems and to take ownership of projects

Served as the technical specialist and lead engineer, exercising management and operational control over all engineering and maintenance related projects, both planned and unplanned, for an experimental research and development facility designed to screen items for chemical and biological contaminants.Key Activities:- Developed and executed project plans for facilities/equipment upgrades - Maintained and tested HVAC and air filtration control systems in a specialized production-type facility- Created and updated standing operating procedures and process plans for facility/equipment maintenance and certification-Initiated the effort to bring the maintenance procedures and documentation in compliance with ISO 9001:2001 quality assurance standards

Served as a Junior Engineer in support of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), focused on the equipping of military personnel and installations for response to possible chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) attacks. Key Activities:- Advised leadership on existing and developing test standards for chemical and biological consequence management items- Developed a database of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) consequence management equipment previously fielded to military installations - Developed test plans to verify and validate manufacturer's published performance data on COTS chemical and biological consequence management items - Conducted laboratory testing of commercially available chemical detectors
