Worked to develop a unique laser powder bed fusion stainless steel alloy for a DoD funded project. The alloy had mechanical properties out of the printer that were nearly 65% improved from traditional L-PBF.

Characterized powders for DoD funded project. Designed and conducted experiments for Stainless Steel 17-4 materials utilizing material and mechanical test methods. Characterized titanium alloy thin-wall structures for a NASA funded research endeavor. Prototyped a 4-in-1 modular desktop manufacturing device with the capabilities of milling, laser engraving.
