I interviewed and liaised with departmental managers and SMEs, ICT Architects and UX analysts before agreeing a programme of systems development work with IT managers. The transactions covered several service areas. I worked with Housing Services on new online transactions for leaseholders of council-managed properties. Each involved integrating e-forms with iWorld and other back office admin systems, accepting fee payments (via the PARIS payments system) and uploading scanned documents. The transactions were for right-to-buy' applications, requesting 'assignment packs' for selling properties, lease amendments, the payments and online consultation elements of communal 'major works', property alterations and sub-letting. I also worked with Customer Services (a walk-in, self-serve solution for customer documents, with straight-through-processing to back office systems), with Parking Services (online transactions for permits, vouchers and appeals) and with Environmental Services (integrating the Love Clean Streets mobile app with CRM & back office systems and services).

The projects included:• Transferring referrals, FACS scoring and triage to a Contact Centre• Remodelling referrals for hospital discharges (section 2 & 5 notices), telecare, occupational therapy,• Improving systems and processes for safeguarding• Improving carer assessments• Using AskSARA, the DLF online self assessment tool • Drafting cabinet papers, consultation plans and Equalities Impact Assessments for(a) sheltered housing schemes (replacing resident officers with floating support),(b) outsourcing residential care provision (including PFI process & tender evaluation), (c) closing a residential home,(d) launching a Local Authority Trading Company for OT equipment provision.I also worked with Environmental Services to introduce mobile working for Streetscene Officers, with Human Resources to review "Single Status" equal pay procedures and enable safer remote working, with Customer Services to introduce a text messaging system, with Cultural Services on PID for a library management system, with Finance and a software house to design and integrate an online payments tool, and with a corporate team on feasibility studies for address checking software and use of smart cards
