Qualified as Mechanical Engineer from Portsmouth.RDC where I am now as Lead corporate data Officer, with responsibilities for and as GIS administrator, Street naming and numbering officer, corporate data officer, lead on inspire and transparency open data agendas and manage a small team. Now using FME to pull all forms of data together to display in our GIS. Looking into the potential of using this software for GDPR compliance.Member of the transformation team who deliver change via web services and the use of corporate data.Integration is now high on the list of the transformation team to deliver a 'One account' for our residents.This is for self service delivery of information the council holds.Member of the local GIS forum and address gazetteer custodians.Enjoy sailing was a qualified RYA sailing instructor and ran a Kent County Council sailing school at Bewl Water for several years. Member of local dramatic society. Involved in local carnival a treasurer for many years and then as Chairman. Also an active member of local choir.
