I served as the Network/Linux administrator for The Hammock Source manufacturing plant. My daily job was to maintain a reliable infrastructure so that day to day operations. I was also responsible for maintaining Red Hat webserver and database for our companies online marketplace. Some of my other responsibility’s were.Setting up new computers for end users.Group Policy management.WSUS management.Firewall administration.File Server manager.In charge of daily Tape backups.One major project I was in charge of was migrating from iis webserver to apache on Red Hat.

I serve as a technical assistant to two professors throughout a semester aiding them and the students with the Cisco Video conferencing camera and linking with their partner country. I also setup and monitor chatroom conversations that the students have with their partners as well.

Health Science Builbing

I work with East Carolina University’s Multimedia Technology Services helping assure that distance education classes are recorded properly and are able to reach the distance education students. I also maintain classrooms so that there are no problems for the teachers and students.
