I’m an experienced department head/software development manager with a passion for helping companies create great software.In my current role I head up a team of software professionals, manage the deliveries of 6 and 7 figure projects and lead the software engineering discipline globally.Over the course of two decades in the software industry I’ve had the pleasure of creating innovative and award-winning products and delivering transformative software solutions into big and small companies. I spent the early part of my career as a software developer specialising in Microsoft technologies, before taking up Agile leadership positions and then moving into management roles.I have experience of bringing about organisational change, including introducing and improving processes, practices, technology, roles, and entire development frameworks. My focus is always to make these changes based on Agile and Lean principles and to place people at the heart of both the change process and its outcome.I’ve successfully grown a department, hiring developers, architects and test professionals, creating high functioning teams and supporting individual growth.
