I am the Legal Director for Oxford Instruments plc, where I advise global group companies on a wide variety of strategic, corporate, and commercial matters such as: compliance; data protection; intellectual property protection and exploitation; litigation, commercial property, employment, public procurement, routes to market (e.g. agency and distribution); terms and conditions of supply and purchase; product development and product licencing; collaborations; confidentiality; and consultancy agreements.Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, I spent 13 years working in the NHS, latterly as the manager of large operating theatre department in an Oxford teaching hospital.
