- Develop and revise Preventative Maintenance procedures and schedules as for assets in the Assembly area. - Oversee contractors completing major emergency repair work on the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) and turnover crane, ensuring the repairs were completed safely and on time.- Supervise 3rd party evaluation of all overhead assets in the assembly area. After completion of the 3rd party evaluation analyze the results and determine the best course of action for the necessary repairs.- Develop Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for full replacement of hoist systems, with new controls to prevent damage seen on previous installations.- Organize a 3rd party evaluation of the 26 year old ASRS support structure to determine weak points and areas in need of overhaul to ensure continued operation of the ASRS.- Review Emergency Work Orders (EWO) to determine the root cause of reoccurring problems, and revise PMs or establish new procedures to prevent similar failures in the future.- Develop RFQ to replace outdated burner controls and gas train for the chassis paint booth fresh air house. Oversee installation of controls and gas train over a planned shutdown period to ensure that the air house was in a fully functioning condition at the end of the shutdown.

- Core responsibilities on the Paint Project Team include oversight, commissioning, and production support for the mechanical components of the paint shop expansion at the NRV plant.- Provided several months of direct production and maintenance support after commissioning and start-up of the Brownfield portion of the paint expansion project was completed.- Provide support and troubleshooting advice, during and after the direct support period, on the new prime paint ovens, basecoat and clear coat E-Cube scrubber, new RTO and concentrators, multitone spot repair booth and oven, and conveyance throughout the shop.- Coordinate and oversee plant efforts to test new abatement system for compliance with VADEQ requirements developed and conducted by a third-party contractor. The test was a weeklong effort that included parties from production, maintenance, environmental, process, and project groups.- Oversee contractor construction operations in both greenfield and brownfield work sites within the cab paint shop at the New River Valley Plant.- Advise operations on proper air balancing of both wet scrubber and dry scrubber paint booths in the cab paint shop.- Provide direct maintenance support for cab paint shop, plastics paint shop, main assembly, offline repair, and warehouse during the labor action in the summer of 2021.
