Coordinated the movement of outgoing personnel and receipt, staging and onward integration of incoming personnel. A total move of around 10 000 individuals.• Responsible for the fielding of new equipments from receipt into Afghanistan, to onward delivery to fighting troops, including threat analysis to determine delivery priorities and liaison across the logistic chain.• Key achievement – Successful planning and execution for the mobilisation of 300 UK troops to gain responsibility for the Upper Gereshk Valley area of Helmand province; a cabinet directed activity.
