Andy McGowan is an Accenture Senior Managing Director. He has over 28 years’ global experience of structuring and delivering market leading services for many different clients and industries. Andy has held a number of senior P&L, sales, client delivery and commercial leadership roles. Andy has also shaped, negotiated and led some of Accenture’s largest global transformational client deals. Andy is currently Senior Managing Director and Global Chief Operating Officer of Accenture Operations. Accenture Operations has more than 240,000 exceptional people working from home, clients sites and leveraging over 50 centers, applying business excellence, intelligence, innovation and deep industry experience, together with New IT and advanced operational skills to drive market leading service performance, cost improvement and growth. Accenture Operations transforms business processes into Intelligent Operations and delivers material business outcomes for our global Clients. Over the last 3 years, in addition to his main role, Andy has also led Accenture’s own Future Enterprise operational transformation, across 27,000 roles, combining Accenture’s own corporate functions with Accenture Operations Client services to deliver a significant 360 value case. Outside of Accenture, Andy is an active member of the global Young Presidents Organisation (YPO), a governor at Newcastle Under Lyme School and a patron of the Royal Television Society.
