Management of 13 staff ensuring the Main Ops centre and 4 Squadrons remain manned at all times. Appraisal writing and career management for all Ops staff. Control and planning of the Ops training and standards programme. Liaison with aircrew and civil engineering authority to ensure aircraft and crew availability for flying training tasks. Maintenance of the flying programme and parking plan for up to 30 aircraft. Planning and running of crash exercises and liaison with Fire crews and Air Traffic Control. Responsible for Operations safety management meetings and ensuring all section PPE was maintained to the highest standards.

Management of Ops staff, running the PPR, parking and landing slot coordination with military and civil air transport. Responsible for the implementation of the new parking plan allocation and publication of new parking charts following the opening of the new runway. Liaison with ground handlers for aircraft offload times and conducting of anti corruption load checks on aircraft. Submission of Notams and coordination of aircraft movements and flying embargos for short notice Aeromed flights and repatriation of fallen soldiers.

. Responsible for the processing, allocation, tasking and flight following of all British military rotary assets supporting security operations and providing assistance to the civilian police force. Operating from Remote Forward Operating Bases maintaining helicopter operations for the planning and removal of British forces as part of the peace process.
