At ABP I held the post of IT manager where I responsibility for the day to day smooth running of all port IT infrastructure with a team of 4 in Southampton and 3 in Cardiff my responsibilities included the infrastructure for not just Southampton but 5 ports in the West Country and South Wales. The key infrastructure areas where the Microsoft office products used in the administration of the business and the systems used in the vessel traffic services marine department which had statutory obligations to the IMO.
