Hey there! I’m Andy Shepherd and I have a passion to help leaders and business owners build processes that will take their company to the next level. I am a performance driven individual with over 15 years of experience in many different positions, both building them and working in them. I have worked on and in positions such as maintenance management, environmental health and safety, facility engineering, estimating, business management, operations management, sales management, chief financial officer, and director of business development to name a few. I have designed, sold, and managed projects over $5mil. I implemented strategies that grew a young startup business to over $10mil in revenue in less than three years. Many of these positions did not exist in the companies prior to my employment, but came from an idea of the position, building that position, and putting the right person in the right seat to succeed there. Throughout my career, in these different facets of business, I have become a well-rounded individual and learned how to teach employees the skills needed to succeed in almost every facet of business. I am eager and ready to show you how you can implement these strategies into your business. I love helping owners and leaders create processes of forecasting, strategy, and putting the right people in the right places to get the job done. I am here to help you build the processes to ignite your vision.

I am a performance driven individual with about 12 years of experience in industrial facilities. Ambition and perseverance have been key components in my current and past success. These two qualities have pushed me to better myself. I have a process driven mind that takes on issues headstrong in an analytical manner.

This is a position that I created for Louis Dreyfus Claypool. My responsibilities include new operator training as well as existing operator refresher training. I am also an author of the majority of SOPs for biodiesel and boilerhouse duties. Being a trainer has also involved me in a great deal of the company’s safety programs. These programs include PSM, PHA, JSA and new construction Hazwoper Programs. I developed new material according to and in compliance with Process Safety Management and BQ9000 standards.

As an operator I learned how to manage the extraction plant through routine maintenance, inspections, and by troubleshooting the different systems throughout the process. I was also responsible for managing flow paths and troubleshooting different valve and pump problems that are common to the process.

As an operator I managed the biodiesel plant and boiler house through routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of the different systems throughout the process. I managed flow paths, process variables, and logged data important to production.

My responsibilities at R-Vision included parts retrieval and shipping as well as 6 yrs on a fast paced assembly line where I built plumbing and gas lines for towable campers. Just prior to leaving R-Vision I was working toward a role of leadership among my group there.

I created this business to publish an outdoor monthly hunting and fishing magazine which was circulated across Kosciusko County. This magazine was a free publication called the Kosciusko County Outdoor Explorer and was funded by the sale of advertisement to various local businesses. Through this career I learned a great deal about management, ownership, and entrepreneurship. I became well versed in Photoshop, Word, Excel and many other computer programs through self-teaching and consulting.
