• Supervised and managed the team for over 9 months during a gap in the lab supervisor position while ensuring that demand for R&D materials was met o Regularly assigned tasks out to people of all levels in the lab, kept leadership informed of issues and accomplishments in a timely manner, and kept the lab running• Built a positive working relationship with multiple venders and partners which improved the ability of both parties to troubleshoot technical issues remotely and reduced downtime on critical lab activities• Created some of the fixtures and test stations used on the manufacturing pilot lines, including all related documentation necessary (MPIs, FXs, IQs, etc.) for final functional testing, PCBA programming, board test stations, and system test stations• Trained and supported operations as they came up to speed for full volume on the G6 pilot line and assisted in several “line down” situations to get the team up and running with a minimum impact to overall throughput• Managed the movement of the G6 transmitter R&D line to the Pilot Plant o Trained new operators and technicians, performed or assisted with IQ/OQ/PQ throughout the line, and supervised the physical transfer of equipment• Coordinated final setup and staging of the anechoic chamber now used in various test suites• Ensured ESD safety was implemented on a new pilot line through de-ionizing fans and other measures which helped ensure that sensitive components were not imperceptibly damaged during manufacturing• Performed or was a point of contact for all mechanical and electrical DVTs on the G6 transmitter, including training operators and engineers to perform them and helping define process validation (PV) testing• Troubleshot issues with all aspects of several generations of the Dexcom transmitter from board-level experiments to investigations into customer returns• Owned experimental build requests for the team and ensured accuracy to the needs of the requestor
