Being directly responsible for the running of over 34 drivers and vehicles of all shapes and sizes. Delivering customer service to such a wide area with a small team is always a challenge. Making sure you always have a back up plan is essential. I have done lots of training courses during my time but by far the IOSH managing risk course was the most eye opening and enjoyable.

I first started with Ontime as a controller and helping out on the road wherever possible. I then helped them set up Fleet Assistance. When they decided to incorporate it into head office I decided to go back out on the road in South East London before being offered the chance to be Driver Supervisor in Essex. When we started to grow the team we moved site to Chelmsford and I took on a new role of Operations Manager which led me on to become an IVR cat 1 Recovery Trainer.
