Andy Westfall credits growing up on a small Ohio farm with a simple “make your own fun” upbringing for generating a lifelong doodler and incessant sandbox dreamer. Today, as Senior Director of Strategic Planning & Development for Herschend Creative Studios, Andy confesses he’s never mentally left that sandbox and is constantly asking himself, “what can we make next?”. With a keen understanding of strategic business priorities, Andy leads conceptual and feasibility development across Herschend’s portfolio for all major capital projects, including steering long-range master planning for the company’s businesses. Herschend is the world’s largest family-owned themed attractions company, with 12,000 hosts serving 15 million annual guests across North America. The company creates, develops, and operates themed entertainment, tourism, and hospitality experiences throughout the U.S. and Canada.
