I arrange for… Show more Historic Collections Manager at London Ambulance Service NHS Trust.Along with managing a team of volunteers, the historic collections I manage include:> 26 Historic and modern ambulances dating back to 1880, > Period medical equipment, > Historic uniforms > Written Archives dating back to the 1880s> Photographic & film recordsI raise awareness & interest in the modern day London Ambulance Service by using the past to promote the present. I arrange for historic ambulances to attend community events, classic vehicle shows, weddings and funerals. I also supply historic and modern (NHS) ambulances to the film/TV industry. All ambulances are kitted with the correct period medical equipment and the drivers/attendants are supplied in the correct period uniform. All drivers/attendants I use are NHS ambulance staff and are full trained and experienced in the operation of the vehicle and equipment. I also act as historical advisor in all matters first aid and ambulance to the film/TV industry.
